VisionAs a co-convener for the Alliance on Gender Equality and Universal Health Coverage, Women Deliver will advocate with global health leaders to ensure sexual and reproductive health (SRH) is nonnegotiable in UHC programs. This includes securing concrete commitments to ensure integration of SRH into UHC in key political agreements, particularly the second UN High-Level Meeting on UHC in September 2023.
Women Deliver Commitment Narratives
- Support the capacity building and knowledge sharing of 500 advocates, Women Deliver Young Leaders, youth, decision-makers, media, and women’s rights organizations in development and humanitarian settings.
- Enable these stakeholders to effectively influence investments, policies, and programs related to gender equality, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and access to modern contraception.
- Foster partnerships and collaboration among gender equality stakeholders by providing 100 opportunities for connecting, strategizing, and developing shared solutions.
- Co-convener the Alliance on Gender Equality and Universal Health Coverage, advocating with global health leaders to prioritize SRH in UHC programs.
- Secure concrete commitments to integrate SRH into UHC in key political agreements, especially the second UN High-Level Meeting on UHC in September 2023.
- Utilize the Women Deliver 2023 Conference as an advocacy moment to build momentum for the Alliance and advance its goals.
