Measurement Framework

377 Million

women and girls are using contraception in low and lower-middle income countries

in 2022, donor governments provided

$1.35 Billion USD

in bilateral funding for family planning

from 2022 to 2023

141 Million

unintended pregnancies were prevented as a result of modern contraceptive use

from 2022 to 2023

30 Million

unsafe abortions were averted as a result of modern contraceptive use

from 2022 to 2023

141 Thousand

maternal deaths were averted as a result of modern contraceptive use
