Measurement Learning Series

In this FP2020 Measurement Learning Series, we explore the successes, challenges, and lessons of FP2020’s measurement agenda, and discuss the implications for the post-2020 family planning partnership.

Return on Investment (ROI)

Studies show that family planning has a strong economic return on investment (ROI). However, the varying estimates of this ROI have caused confusion. To address this confusion, FP2020 gathered a group of experts and advocates to measure and communicate the ROI of family planning.

Understanding 'Additional Users'

The ‘additional users’ indicator is the first in a suite of 18 FP2020 Core Indicators. It serves as one of FP2030‘s foundational measures of progress and is reported annually for FP2030’s 69 focus countries.
