FP2020 launched this year’s annual progress report, The Arc of Progress, during our virtual event, FP2020: Celebrating Progress, Transforming for the Future. Once more, we also released a digital report as we did last year, and we will release a condensed version in print in the coming months.

The webinar was an opportunity to focus on the themes of this year’s report: the arc of progress with a timeline of the key events from 2012-2020.  We also talked about how this past year the family planning community faced its greatest threat yet – the COVID-19 pandemic – and how partners all over the world worked heroically to maintain health services. We will shared insights from the latest data, exploring the impact of the FP2020 initiative on rights-based family planning programming. We discussed the latest trends in financing for family planning and the shared vision the global family planning community has created for 2030 that builds on progress achieved to date and positions us to achieve the future women and girls around the world want and deserve.
