Advance Family Planning (AFP) has launched a new addition to its advocacy resource toolkit, the “AFP SMART Facilitators Guide.” The guide contains tips and recommendations for how to successfully facilitate the AFP SMART Process. Sections include information on how to prepare for an advocacy strategy session, facilitate the most challenging AFP SMART steps, avoid common facilitation traps, and ensure follow-through after strategy sessions end. The document is intended to serve as a companion piece to a previous resource, “AFP SMART: A Guide to Quick Wins.”
