Mustafa Kudrati is an international health and development executive with over 30 years of experience managing integrated health programs, leading human rights policy and advocacy initiatives, and guiding organizational change processes. 

He has held senior executive level positions in Global Health and Children and Adolescent organizations such as JSI, Plan USA, EngenderHealth, and Pathfinder International over the past 20 years, managing complex technical teams, driving strategy, growth and organizational excellence. Throughout his career, Mustafa has championed sexual and reproductive health and rights and meaningful participation of children and young people, and has a technical background in facilitating organizational change and development. He was a co-founder of a children’s right organization in Tanzania focused on popularizing the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and integration of street children into home communities and formal education. In 1999, Kuleana received UNICEF’s highest award for its child rights advocacy and model practices for working with at-risk children. Mustafa Kudrati was born and raised in Tanzania, where he attended government primary and secondary schools. Later he earned his Bachelor’s in Development Studies at Hamilton College, USA and his Master’s in Public Administration at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University, USA.
