Since July 2020 Abebe is working as a Country Director for MSI Ethiopia Reproductive Choices. Prior to that, he served MSI Cambodia as SRH performance improvement specialist; Marie Stopes Zimbabwe as a Country Director and Chief of Party for USAID project from 2016 to 2020. Abebe has also served as an Associate Director for the US Peace Corps Ethiopia Office; a Team Leader & Project Manager for IntraHealth/USAID, and a Senior Program Officer for ActionAid Ethiopia’s community development Program. Abebe held a Doctorate Degree in Business Management specialized in health, MPH, MBA specialized in health management, BSC degree in health science, and Advance Diploma in Comprehensive Nursing.
