Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum (UYAHF) is a youth-led organization focused on promoting the health and well-being of young people.
The organization addresses issues such as sexual and reproductive health and rights, gender equality, livelihoods, climate change, and sexual and gender-based violence.
Commitments made to:
UYAHF committed to enhancing knowledge, demand, access, and uptake of quality adolescent-friendly sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) and maternal newborn and child health (MNCH) services for 1,000 vulnerable and marginalized adolescent girls and young women who have given birth and are at high risk of unintended pregnancy in 5 districts of Uganda by 2020.

Uganda Youth and Adolescents Health Forum Commitment Narratives
- UYAHF aims to improve the understanding and utilization of adolescent-friendly sexual and reproductive health services, including maternal and child health, in Uganda’s five districts.
- UYAHF provides adolescent mothers and high-risk girls with information on safe motherhood, family planning, antenatal care, and breastfeeding to improve their health-seeking behaviors and outcomes.
- UYAHF promotes the use of modern contraceptives among girls at high risk of unintended pregnancies, empowering them to make informed decisions about their reproductive health.
