Tanzania offers a range of contraceptive options, including pills, injectables, implants, and intrauterine devices (IUDs), and has made efforts to reduce the cost of these methods.

The Tanzanian government has demonstrated its commitment to family planning by increasing its budget allocation for reproductive health services and developing policies and guidelines to guide family planning programming. Tanzania has also taken steps to improve the availability of contraceptives, by increasing the number of trained health care providers who can offer family planning services and by expanding the range of contraceptive methods available. It has also launched campaigns to raise awareness about the benefits of family planning and to reduce stigma and misconceptions surrounding contraceptive use.
