Shanghai Dahua is committed to advancing global family planning efforts, particularly the FP2020 goals, which aim to reach an additional 120 million women with family planning methods by 2020.
With a strong belief in the importance of women’s empowerment, Shanghai Dahua is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, affordable contraceptives, including their WHO-prequalified implant product, Levoplant.

Shanghai Dahua is committed to expanding access to high-quality, effective, and affordable contraceptives that meet the needs of women, including those in hard-to-reach and vulnerable populations. Shanghai Dahua made a commitment to FP2020 countries to offer its WHO-prequalified implant product, Levoplant, at lower prices – making it readily available in FP2020 countries.
Shanghai Dahua Commitment Narratives
- Shanghai Dahua aims to ensure that cost is not a barrier to accessing effective contraception by offering Levoplant at lower prices, with a rate of US$7.50 per unit for orders above 300,000 units and US$8.00 per unit for orders below 300,000 units.
- Shanghai Dahua will register Levoplant in as many countries as possible, ensuring its widespread availability.
- Shanghai Dahua aims to make Levoplant even more affordable, contributing to increased accessibility for women worldwide.
