Surcos is a non-profit civil association that develops and implements community health strategies that contribute to improving the living conditions of vulnerable communities in Argentina.
Commitments made to:
By 2025, we hope to have strengthened municipal approaches to sexual and reproductive health in at least 18 municipalities in Argentina, with a rights-based, gender-based, and participatory intercultural approach.
Currently, in a context of increasing hate speech, patriarchal discourse, denial of femicides, and gender-based violence, it is necessary to reinforce the perspective of rights, gender, and intercultural approaches. To do so, we hope to train 3,000 people from the community and 900 people representing professionals, technicians, workers, and managers/decision-makers on these issues in the next three years.
