Les Ailes Du Cœur is an NGDO under Congolese law that works for development, the promotion of youth and health in general, reproductive health in particular.
For several years, in accordance with its action plan focused, at its beginning on the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) then on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with actions in favor of community development based on health considered in the most holistic sense, the association Les Ailes du Cœur has initiated several micro-projects and initiatives targeting in turn children, young people and adults.

Vision
Training 260 young leaders (18-30 years old) across DRC with relevant skills in evidence based adolescent health advocacy and accountability to advocate at national and sub-national levels to make adolescent health, particularly sexual and reproductive health, a priority on roadmaps by 2020.
Les Ailes Du Coeur Commitment Narratives
- Train 260 young leaders (18-30 years old) across DRC.
- Conduct 29 advocacy activities by the trained young leaders.
- Impact or sensitize 81,000 adolescents/young people globally through the advocacy activities of the 165 young leaders.
- Influence and touch 440 leaders with high influence through the advocacy of the 165 young leaders.
- Open 2 Youth-friendly Reproductive Health centers in Central Kasai and Haut-Katanga provinces of DRC.
- Benefit 68,575 adolescents and youth with youth-friendly Reproductive health/Family planning services.
- Improve women’s, children’s, and adolescents’ health across service delivery in counselling, psychological support, provision of modern contraceptive methods, safe abortion, STI and HIV screening and care, and care for victims of sexual violence.
