The Santa Fe de Bogotá Foundation is a private, non-profit entity of a social nature whose mission is to lead and positively influence the health sector and contribute to the well-being of individuals and communities. For more than 50 years, FSFB has constantly worked to leave a social footprint and build superior value for its patients, families and visitors. From the leadership of the Population Health Axis, whose objective is to positively impact the well-being of individuals and communities through the implementation of sustainable, innovative and scalable health models, the areas of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Maternal and Child Health have joined forces to lead a program focused on reducing maternal morbidity in women under 19 years of age and over 35 years of age

The main objective of the Unidos program is to co-design, implement and evaluate an effective program for the reduction of maternal morbidity and mortality and the strengthening of sexual and reproductive rights in children under 19 years of age and over 35 years of age in Bogotá, Cartagena. and in the municipalities of Pereira, Pueblo Rico, Marsella and Mistrató.

  1. Strengthen maternal and child health services in 34 health service-providing institutions with the goal of reducing extreme morbidity and maternal mortality by 2%. 
  2. Strengthen sexual health and reproductive health services in 34 IPS, as well as CSE strategies in 36 schools to reduce early pregnancy by 2%.
