Vision
The Chaudhary Foundation is committed to helping the Government of Nepal generate demand for family planning services by supporting the use of mass communication tools, building on the work of the Government of Nepal/USAID’s HC3 program.
Chaudhary Foundation Commitment Narratives
- Reduce global maternal mortality to less than 70 deaths per 100,000 live births.
- Ensure universal access to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR), including satisfying the need for family planning among women of reproductive age (15-49) with modern methods.
- Eliminate harmful practices, discrimination, and violence against women and girls, as measured by the percentage of women aged 20-24 who were married or in a union before age 15 and before age 18, and the proportion of young women and men aged 18-29 who experienced sexual violence by age 18.
