AVAC works to accelerate the ethical development and global delivery of HIV prevention options as part of a comprehensive and integrated response to the epidemic.
AVAC spearheads efforts to translate, advocate and catalyze action — bridging science and community through communication; mobilizing for inclusive and impactful programs, products and policies; and cultivating and sustaining partnerships to spur advances in HIV prevention and sexual and reproductive health.
Commitments made to:
The integration of HIV with sexual and reproductive health services and products is key to reducing HIV incidence. Making it easier for women and girls to access quality, comprehensive HIV/SRH services where and when they feel comfortable and removing the multiple barriers in health systems that inhibit HIV and sexual and reproductive health (SRH) integration is a key focus of AVAC‘s mission.
