Asociación Chilena de Protección de la Familia
The Government of Australia made a commitment at the London Summit on Family Planning in July 2012 to increase its support for family planning and enhance maternal, reproductive, and child health.
As part of this commitment, Australia pledged to allocate an additional AUD 58 million over a span of five years to family planning efforts. The aim was to double the annual contributions to AUD 53 million by 2016. This financial commitment was integrated into Australia’s broader investments in maternal, reproductive, and child health, which totaled at least AUD 1.6 billion over a five-year period until 2015.
