ALIANMISAR emerged in the face of the large gaps observed in health indicators between non-indigenous and indigenous populations on the issue of comprehensive women’s health that involves reproductive health and works to raise awareness about reproductive health issues among indigenous communities, including access to contraception, safe abortion, and maternal health services.
