Benin

As part of its commitment, Benin has set a national target to increase its modern contraceptive prevalence rate (mCPR) from 14.8% in 2017 to 25% by 2022.

The government has also developed a national strategic plan for family planning and established a multi-sectoral task force to coordinate efforts to improve access to and use of family planning services. Benin has implemented several initiatives to increase awareness and demand for family planning services, including a national campaign to promote the use of modern contraceptives and the integration of family planning services into routine healthcare services.
