Em has been with FP2030 for six years and helped transition the FP2020 brand to FP2030. She has helped secure placements and mentions for FP2030 in outlets like Devex, the New York Times, and FP Magazine, making the case for family planning as a “development best buy” and a critical piece of the 2030 Agenda. Previously, Em worked in the labor movement, making the link between women’s equality and economic empowerment. Em has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Western Washington University and lives in Las Vegas with her wife and two cats.
