By the end of the project 2000 direct beneficiaries will be positively impacted. The project will be implemented in Morogoro DC. The project will cover two (2) public secondary schools and communities of this rural town. This area is chosen because adolescents and youth have a series of serious sexual and reproductive health issues.

This project aims to strengthen services on the ground to ensure that adolescents and youth have the right to and the ability to access voluntary family planning by offering them a bucket of healthy choices.
Commitments made to:
FWPPS’ commitment is focusing on prevention of unwanted pregnancies and their consequences among adolescent and youth in Morogoro DC.

Family Welfare, Primary Health and Preventive Services Organization Commitment Narratives
- 12 family planning service providers recruited and trained to provide education on sexual
and reproductive health of adolescents and youth rights so that they acquire appropriate
skills and knowledge to assist better beneficiaries. - Adolescents and youth have the right to and ability to access friendly voluntary family planning services.
- 30 parents, school stakeholders, religious and community leaders are strengthened and play better roles and responsibilities in terms of adolescents and youth sexual and
reproductive health (AYSRH). - 2000 adolescents and youth are empowered on quality adolescents and youth sexual and reproductive health (AYSRH) education through proper information and communication for
behavioral change. - Local authorities of Morogoro DC commit to budget and prioritize the AYSRH in local policy.
- 30 peer educators among teachers, students, religious and communities’ leaders are trained to ensure the sustainability of awareness raising, counseling, and referrals to health centers during and after the project.
