Kerubo Onsoti is a communications specialist with over a decade of experience leading strategic communications and digital campaigns across Africa.
Prior to her current role, she served as Acting Communications and Information Lead at FEMNET, where she crafted and implemented comprehensive communication strategies that elevated FEMNET’s visibility and solidified its position as a leading voice for gender equality in Africa. Kerubo has led impactful media and digital campaigns across multiple African countries, with a strong focus on advancing Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) and Economic Justice and Rights (EJR). She has developed and disseminated compelling SRHR-focused content, mobilized stakeholders and utilized digital platforms to drive advocacy and amplify the voices of African Women and Girls. Her expertise in media strategy, feminist advocacy, and stakeholder engagement resulted in significant contributions to policy advocacy, movement-building and collective action. She has also managed digital campaigns for global brands such as VISA and Diageo and led digital marketing initiatives for EatOut Kenya.
Kerubo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Finance from the University of Nairobi. Passionate about using communication for social impact, she remains committed to advancing gender equality, human rights and sustainable development through strategic and impactful storytelling.
