The Malagasy government has identified family planning as a priority area in its national development plan, with a goal of increasing modern contraceptive prevalence.
To achieve this goal, the government has developed a national family planning strategy and implemented a range of interventions, including increasing the availability and accessibility of contraceptive methods, training healthcare providers, and raising awareness about family planning.
