In 2012, the ICRW committed to expanding the evidence base for addressing socio-cultural barriers when striving to meet women’s demand for reproductive control and the use of family planning services.

  • Assess the value for money of different programmatic initiatives.
  • Address socio-cultural barriers to family planning, including violence and stigma.
  • Strengthen reproductive health services for adolescent girls.
  • Promote adolescent girls’ agency and knowledge of sexual and reproductive health.
