CARD-MRI, the largest microfinance institution in the Philippines, committed to providing family planning education and information to at least four million women from 2017 to 2020.
CARD-MRI Commitment Narratives
- Conduct weekly 15-minute learning sessions on modern family planning methods for CARD-MRI women members during an eight-week module.
- Utilize CARD-MRI’s chain of pharmacies to supply medicines and contraceptives, including pills and condoms, to clients at discounted prices.
- Partner with 18 other micro-finance institutions in the Philippines to organize Community Health Days, offering free health and dental check-ups to millions of women and their families throughout the country.
