Americares has committed to expanding access to family planning commodities and integrating family planning services in its clinical health programs in several countries, including Liberia, Tanzania, Nepal, India, the Philippines, and El Salvador.

Vision
Americares aims to distribute commodities, provide services and referrals, conduct outreach and education, and train health workers on family planning and reproductive health components.
Americares Commitment Narratives
- Strengthen the capacity of facility-based health workers to provide quality reproductive and maternal health care, including adolescent-friendly health services, family planning, and safe childbirth care.
- Support the improvement of the medical supply chain to ensure the distribution of family planning and other reproductive health commodities to the last-mile health facilities through the national supply chain.
- Engage agents of change within local communities, including traditional and religious leaders and trained traditional midwives, to build support for reproductive and maternal health. This includes mobilizing communities and strengthening the linkages between communities and healthcare facilities.
