Family Planning 2030 report (FP2030 Measurement Report) shows that women face challenges such pandemic, conflict and natural disasters these several years, and their preferences have also drastically changed over time, with a growing preference for long-lasting methods; highlights need to mobilize domestic resources to meet demand.
According to a new report published January 25, the use of modern contraception is soaring around the world, with an estimated 371 million women of reproductive age in low- and lower-middle-income countries now using a modern method of family planning – 87 million more than just a decade ago.
