Sara Nagi is a dedicated Sudanese medical doctor and an independent consultant specializing in Adolescent and Youth Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (AYSRHR). With a wealth of experience spanning seven years in the fields of global health and gender equality, Sara has focused her efforts on fostering youth engagement, particularly within emergency contexts across the MENA region and the Horn of Africa.
Sara is the co-founder of Tayf, a youth-led initiative dedicated to SRHR, and currently serves as its Co-Executive Manager. She has shared her expertise through consultancy services with numerous international NGOs and UN agencies, including WHO, Crown Agents, and Plan International. Her contributions have revolved around advocating for the contextualization of SRHR initiatives in the global south, stressing the importance of tailoring strategies to meet local needs. Additionally, Sara was part of Sudan’s first UN Youth Delegation and participated in various youth leadership fellowships, such as MCW Global and United People Global.
Sara is committed to designing and implementing evidence-based, human-centered interventions, acknowledging that our communities are the main stakeholders and the true drivers of change.
