Building 2030

In 2022, FP2030 launched its Advocacy and Accountability Framework (AAF), which outlines the role of advocacy and accountability in the FP2030 partnership. The Framework includes broad advocacy priorities and a global accountability framework for tracking the progress of FP2030 commitments.

To support the operationalization of the AAF, FP2030 is seeking to partner with three civil society organizations in Ethiopia, the Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Zambia to pilot the country commitment tracking approach. Selected partners are expected to work with government representatives and the FP community in their country to monitor, validate, report progress, and act on their country’s FP2030 commitment and should be prepared to share their experiences and results.

Civil society and nonprofit organizations in Ethiopia, the Gambia, Ghana, Liberia, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, and Zambia will be considered for funding. Nonprofit organizations include local and international civil society, non-governmental, or youth-led organizations. Each grant will be for a maximum of $80,000 USD and be awarded in July 2023 for a grant period of 18 months. To be considered, a complete application must be submitted to AAgrants@fp2030.org by May 12, 2023.
